At Bassett Healthcare Network, our Women's Health care team consists of physicians, certified nurse midwives, advanced practice clinicians and nurses, all bringing you professional and compassionate care. When hospitalization is required, the providers and staff in our outpatient clinics work closely with surgeons, inpatient laborists, midwives and hospital nursing staff to provide a seamless transition of care.

    Resources

Bassett Healthcare Network patients receive primary and specialty care from a team of health professionals. We have chosen a model that includes expert care delivered by advanced practice clinicians (APCs) who collaborate with our physicians and support staff to care for our patients.

Bassett APCs include: physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs), certified nurse midwives (CNMs) and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) - all certified and licensed in their respective fields. APCs practice evidence-based medicine and adhere to the same guidelines and quality and care standards practiced by Bassett physicians.

Bassett patients have benefited from the care of APCs for over 40 years. We hired our first PA in 1970 and our first NP in 1974. We are proud to have a health care team of compassionate experts, working together to give our patients the high quality of care that they deserve.
