This Valentine's Day, one couple, Marcy and Bob, could not be more thankful for a mended heart.
Recently, Bob experienced what seemed at first to be typical acid reflux. It soon turned much more serious, sending Bob to Bassett Medical Center's Emergency Department. Bob was quickly diagnosed upon arrival: he was having a heart attack. According to Marcy, staff immediately swung into action and saved Bob's life.
This year Marcy and Bob are looking forward to celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary together — and they don't think they would be had it not been for the life-saving heart care Bob receives at Bassett Medical Center.
"We are so lucky to have a world-class heart clinic so close to home!" Marcy shares.
Bob and Marcy extend their most sincere thanks from the bottom of their hearts to all the wonderful staff at Bassett Medical Center.
"Every time we have a doctor's visit everyone is so compassionate and helpful, from the people at registration to the security guards to the medical staff. We are just so appreciative!"
