Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a qualified Urologist to join our growing team.

We provide care and services to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles. The health system includes over 500 employed practitioners, five hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, a research institute, and other health partners. The network connects patients in the region to a multitude of medical specialists who provide technical expertise and skills in areas typically found only in big cities.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • State of the Art OR’s with one devoted to the Xi DaVinci Surgical System
  • Full Support Staff including APC’s with Surgical Residents & Medical Student Interaction
  • Call Responsibility limited to Primary Hospital with APC’s taking first Inpatient Call
  • Instant Referral Base provided by over 100 Primary Care Clinicians
  • 180 Bed Primary Hospital with Level III Trauma Center
  • Visa Sponsorship Available - J-1 & H-1B candidates welcome to apply
  • Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance & productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
