The Department of Anesthesiology includes 18 physicians and 25 CRNAs, working within an Anesthesia Care Team model with a meaningful medical direction ratio—typically 1:2—while also offering opportunities for solo cases. Providers enjoy a full spectrum case mix and care for a diverse patient population. The department operates on a shift-based model, equivalent to over 10 weeks of paid time off annually.
Annual Salary:
$600,000**
Resident Stipend up to $60,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation

The Department of Cardiovascular Services consists of 15 cardiologists, 2 surgeons, and 12 advanced practice clinicians.

Hematology Oncology Opportunities
The Bassett Regional Cancer Program has been continuously accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center since 1947 and the American Society of Clinical Oncology since 2021. The program is also a member of the ECOG-ACRIN with close to 30 years of participation in NCI and sponsored clinical trials. The program has a collaborative and multidisciplinary model, which includes onsite Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Pathologists and Radiologists, including an active weekly tumor board. The program has a comprehensive support team that includes Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Financial Counselors, a Nutritionist and Palliative Care Practitioners.
Annual Salary Range:
$600,000 - $675,000**
Fellowship Stipend up to $60,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation

Primary Care Opportunities
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Physicians to join our team. We provide care and services to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles. The health system includes over 500 employed practitioners, five hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, a research institute, and other health partners.
Annual Salary Range:
$320,000 - $374,000**
Resident Stipend up to $45,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation

Urologist Opportunity
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a qualified Urologist to join our growing team.
Bassett is an integrated healthcare system that serves a rural eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles including six affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, health centers and health partners in related fields. The network connects patients in the region to a multitude of medical specialists who provide technical expertise and skills in areas typically found only in big cities.
Annual Salary Range:
$515,000 - $619,000**
Resident Stipend up to $60,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation
