A patient shuttle service is now making the rounds to parking lots on the Bassett Medical Center campus in Cooperstown. The shuttle service stops regularly Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. at the following parking lots:
- Parking lot 1, which is across from the Clinic on River St.;
- Parking lot 2, which is off Mill St. near the Cancer Center entrance to the Clinic;
- Parking lot 3, which is down the hill on Mill St. near the river, and
- Parking lot 4, which is accessed from Fair St.
Patients will still be able to call (607) 547-5959 and ask for transport, but the shuttle driver will make regular stops at each lot and assist patients with safely getting to their destination. The driver of the patient shuttle is Bradley Wilfeard, who has been with Bassett for 43 years and is a member of the Security Department staff.
We are happy to provide this service and anticipate that it will greatly enhance the patient experience at Bassett as a safe, convenient and pleasant way of getting to appointments.
