O’Connor Hospital Receives the 2024 Women’s Choice Award® as One of America’s Best Hospitals for Emergency Timeliness

Delhi, NY — Bassett Healthcare Network’s O’Connor Hospital has been named one of the Best Hospitals for Emergency Timeliness by the Women’s Choice Award®, a national award signifying that O’Connor Hospital has some of the shortest ER wait times and highest patient recommendations among the top 13% of more than 4,600 U.S. hospitals.

The Best Hospitals for Emergency Timeliness Award is unique in that its criteria combines Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient survey recommendation results with process of care measures – focusing on total time patients spent in the emergency department and the percentage of emergency patients who left without being seen.

O’Connor Hospital is certified as a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) and provides inpatient medical care, emergency care, short-stay inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, specialty services, and diagnostic testing.
