Grateful Patient Raises $500 for Bassett Cancer Institute with 'Go Pink' Cupcakes

Bassett Cancer Institute would like to thank Lisa Lamb Vance and her sister, Jessica Halstead, for donating $500 to Bassett Cancer Institute at FoxCare after holding a cupcake fundraiser in October. Jessica, who owns a bakery (Jess' Northland Sweets), baked more than 30 dozen pink flamingo cupcakes. 50 percent of proceeds were generously given to Bassett Cancer Institute in honor of Lisa, who has been battling colon cancer since late 2019.
