Fall Prevention for Seniors - Little Falls Hospital Lunch & Learn Series

Herkimer County Office of the Aging and Little Falls Hospital Rehabilitation Department are hosting an upcoming fall prevention seminar on March 28, at noon, located at Little Falls Hospital in conference room A.

Falls are a leading cause of injury for people aged 65 and older; however, falls are not an inevitable part of aging and there are proven ways to prevent them. At the fall prevention seminar you will learn four major ways to reduce falling, how some medications increase the risk of falls, and about evidence-based programs to prevent falls, including "Matter of Balance and the Art of Tai Chi."
