Cooperstown, NY - Bassett Medical Center's Primary Care Clinic in Cooperstown will be holding COVID-19 and flu vaccine clinics every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. starting Nov. 10, 2021. Appointments are required - call 607-547-4625.

For COVID-19 vaccines: All three manufacturers are available (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson). First, second, third, and booster shots are available. These clinics are open to all eligible established Bassett patients 18 years of age or older. Visit our COVID-19 resource page for more information on eligibility criteria. COVID-19 vaccines are provided at no cost. 

Flu vaccines are available to all established Bassett patients 18 years of age or older. Flu vaccines are covered by most insurance providers. For those without insurance, costs may range from $40 to $72 depending on whether patients qualify for a low-dose or high-dose shot. Dial 607-547-7973 for more information. 

People in the following groups are at highest risk for illness complications:

  • People with serious long-term health problems (lung disease, heart disease, diabetes, asthma, kidney disease, and blood disorders)
  • People with immune system weakness (due to cancer treatment, long-term steroid therapy, advanced or untreated HIV/AIDS, or other immune diseases)
  • People 50 years of age and older

You can help fight the flu, COVID-19, and other sickness by washing your hands frequently, covering your mouth when you cough, and staying home from work or school if you have symptoms.
