Bassett Caregivers Show Solidarity with Ukraine

As we have watched the war unfold in Ukraine, Bassett’s core values of unity and courage have resonated more than ever. The conflict may be thousands of miles away, but we feel the impacts here. Some of our caregivers, practitioners, and patients have friends and family directly impacted by this conflict. Our hearts also go out to the health care workers facing unimaginable circumstances while caring for the sick and wounded in war zones.

In solidarity with our friends and colleagues near and far, Bassett Healthcare Network is offering practical support through the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and symbolic support by lighting the cupola at Bassett Medical Center in the blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag. In addition, many of our staff members are wearing blue and yellow to show support.
