Fast and Easy Access To Specialty Services
E-Consults are a new, more convenient way to receive specialty consultations using telecommunication technology available at your local primary care office. Bassett Healthcare Network now offers e-consults to provide our patients with fast-tracked specialty consultations, closer to home.

- Improved communication between your primary care practitioner and the specialist.
- No waiting room wait times.
- Patients will receive a copy of the consultation report and treatment plan.
How Does it All Work?
Your primary care practitioner will collect all the information needed to share with your e-consultant, including any exam results, lab results, or digital photos. Your primary care practitioner then creates an e-consult request to a specialist with your health information and all the information specific to your clinical question.
The specialist reviews all the documentation and prepares a treatment plan, which is delivered digitally to your doctor. You will receive a printable copy of the consult and treatment plan within 3 business days.

- Infectious diseases
What’s Next?
TeleHealth provides health care remotely by means of telecommunications technology. This includes TeleMedicine, e-consults, and remote patient monitoring. Bassett Healthcare Network is investing in TeleHealth technologies and partnerships in order to offer our patients improved access to the services they need. TeleMedicine at Bassett Healthcare Network is currently being offered by the following partners:
