Little Falls Hospital was founded in 1893 and is a voluntary, not-for-profit healthcare institution. Little Falls Hospital, a proud partner of The Bassett Healthcare Network, is Herkimer County's sole provider of 25 acute, swing and intensive care beds. Little Falls Hospital offers 24/7 Emergency Services with physicians from Bassett providing medical coverage. The hospital is governed by a voluntary board of trustees, employs approximately 280 full and part-time area residents.
