Join Our FREE Cancer Support Groups
The Bassett Cancer Institute is offering convenient monthly cancer support groups that are open to anybody that has a cancer diagnosis – any type or stage, newly diagnosed, in treatment and survivors.
Groups are available to all residents of Upstate New York!
*Important Notice About Our Cancer Support Groups*
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, meetings will be held virtually on Zoom.
All participants must have access to Zoom, along with a computer, tablet, or mobile phone with internet, video, and audio capabilities. Please be sure to create a free Zoom account prior to the meeting.
Social & Emotional Support
Our Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) will be leading these monthly groups to provide additional social and emotional support to those who have been diagnosed with cancer. We wish to foster a sense of community and build individual support systems with others who are dealing with, or who may have dealt with, similar life circumstances.
Support Group Schedule
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 10:00AM – 11:00AM.
