Dr. Carolyn Wolf-Gould attended Hamilton College, Yale University School of Medicine and completed her residency in family practice at the University of Rochester. She has been providing primary care at Susquehanna Family Practice since 1994 and has been offering services for transgender patients since 2007. She is a member of The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and is the collaborating physician for Choices Counseling and Consulting. Dr. Wolf-Gould is a WPATH clinical mentor and is committed to training health care professionals on how to include transgender health services as a part of primary care.

As the collaborating physician for Choices Counseling and Consulting in Albany, NY, she meets regularly with the staff at Choices to coordinate care for mutual patients. She frequently joins Arlene Lev, LCSW-R, CASAC and Acey Mercer, LCSW to provide training programs on transgender health and wellness through The Training Institute for Gender, Relationships, Identity and Sexuality (TIGRIS).

Dr. Christopher Wolf-Gould attended Oberlin College, Yale University School of Medicine and completed his residency in family practice at the University of Rochester. He has been providing primary care at Susquehanna Family Practice since 1994 and has been offering services to transgender patients since 2012. Dr. Wolf-Gould was a member of the local Parents, Families, Friends and Allies United with LGBTQ People to Move Equality Forward (PFLAG) chapter for many years.

Justine Woolner-Wise received her Master’s degree in social work from Syracuse University and has been a clinical social worker in the Oneonta community since 1990. She is experienced in gender and sexuality issues, working with individuals, couples and families. She has been working in collaboration with Dr. Carolyn Wolf-Gould since 2013, providing psychsocial and gender assessments and psychotherapy to transgender clients, their partners and their families.

In clinical practice since 1987, Susan C. Turell , PhD has spent many years advocating for equity, diversity and inclusion as a licensed psychologist, researcher, faculty member, author and administrator. Her areas of expertise include LGBT health care concerns and intimate partner violence, including sexual coercion and violence. She is delighted to join the practitioners at Susquehanna Family Practice's Transgender Health Services program, to provide psychotherapy and assessments for transgender patients, their partners and their families.

Arlene (Ari) Istar Lev, LCSW-R, CASAC, is the consulting provider for the Center for Gender Wellness. She is a social worker and family therapist who is the founder and clinical director of Choices Counseling and Consulting and TIGRIS: The Training Institute for Gender, Relationships, Identity, and Sexuality in Albany, New York. She is a part-time lecturer at the University at Albany, School of Social Welfare and is the project director of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Project (SOGI). She is also an adjunct professor at Smith College School for Social Work, Empire State College, and the Rockway Institute at Alliant International University. Ms. Lev is also the clinical supervisor for Center Support Counseling Services at the Pride Center of the Capital Region. She has authored numerous journal articles and written two books: The Complete Lesbian and Gay Parenting Guide and Transgender Emergence: Therapeutic Guidelines for Working with Gender-Variant People and their Families, winner of the APA (Division 44) Distinguished Book Award, 2006.
