    LGFB (Look Good Feel Better) 

    Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, LGFB is hosted at the Clinic Building at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown every other month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. LGFB is for women with any type of cancer diagnosis who have concerns about their skin, scalp or hair (loss) due to treatments. The group is led by a cosmetologist who is herself a cancer survivor. You will receive tips on skin care, makeup (each participant receives a free makeup kit valued at $200) wig care, hair care, head covering options and more. Location: Clinic Conference Room 1 (behind the pharmacy).     Ed Shultis Prostate Cancer Support Group 

    This group meets at the Hannah Lee House, at the corner of Mill St. and Fernleigh Drive in Cooperstown, on Tuesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Note: this group does not meet on a regular basis. Meetings are scheduled based upon the group’s needs and availability of speakers. For information, call Bob Parmerter at 607-638-9343.

    Peer-led Support Group 

    This group meets at SUNY Oneonta, 108 Ravine Parkway, in the Hunt Union Butternut Valley Room, next to Starbucks, the third Wednesday of each month from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. For more information, contact Laura Emmett at 607-436-3114.
