MyBassett Benefits:

Bassett Healthcare Network Billing, Registration, and Scheduling System

All hospitals and health centers within the Bassett Healthcare Network use a billing, registration, and scheduling system that is seamlessly connected to Bassett Healthcare Network’s electronic health record system. Patients have access to their personal health record through a secure patient portal, MyBassett.

An electronic health record is a digital version of your chart that can be shared by doctors, hospitals, and patients. Results and notes generated during your visit to the hospital, physician office, or satellite blood draw station are consolidated and accessible in one secure record. Your medical history, allergies, current medications, and all results are entered into the electronic health record.

MyBassett gives you the power to view your electronic health record, securely from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. If you receive care or have tests performed at any Bassett Healthcare Network hospital, medical clinic, lab or outpatient site, your appointments, test results, and visit summaries will be viewable to you on MyBassett. You will also be able to communicate with your physician on non-urgent issues, access consolidated billing statements, make payments, receive appointment reminders and request a prescription renewal, all online.

Visit www.mybassett.org to sign up for MyBassett. The app can be downloaded for your smartphone by downloading MyChart and choosing Bassett Healthcare Network as your provider. You will need to go through the initial signup process by visiting www.mybassett.org.

If you're the primary caregiver for children or an adult family member, and already have a MyBassett account, you may receive proxy (approved guest) access to view portions of their medical information. This will be done at an appointment with your loved one to ensure only a person with an established relationship receives proxy access.

You might receive care from several different health care providers or at several Bassett Healthcare Network locations as part of your care. For example, you may see your family physician, have an X-ray taken, get blood work done, receive anesthesia, or need medical transportation. Bassett Healthcare Network will send a separate bill for each service location. As a result, you potentially can receive a bill from:

  • Bassett Medical Group
  • Bassett Medical Center
  • A.O. Fox Hospital
  • A.O. Fox Hospital - Tri-Town Campus
  • Little Falls Hospital
  • Cobleskill Regional Hospital
  • O’Connor Hospital
  • Valley Health Services
  • A School-Based Health Center
  • An ambulance company
  • A private practice, following a visit with a physician not associated with Bassett Healthcare Network. This would not be billed by Bassett.

You will receive a bill for each visit, but monthly you will receive a consolidated statement from each location you receive care. You can always view a consolidated statement by viewing your statement on MyBassett.

After you review a bill, if you have any questions about your bill, you can call the Billing Customer Service Department at 888-505-0962 (Monday — Friday: 8:00am — 5:00pm).

To make payment arrangements, please call 888-505-0962, or visit MyBassett.org.

If you are uninsured and would like to apply for Financial Assistance you can call 607-547-3093 to request an application.

Click here to create a MyBassett account and see your detailed bill online. If you prefer not to see the entire bill or create an account, you can also click here to pay a set amount that will be applied to the oldest charge on your account.

Phone: You can call 888-505-0962.

You can sign up for a payment plan through your MyBassett account. Certain requirements must be met to be eligible for a payment plan. If you would like to talk to someone directly about your payment plan options, please call 888-505-0962.

Co-pays are required at the time of your visit. All Bassett Healthcare Network locations require you to pay your co-pay at the time of your visit. This will also eliminate the amount of bills and statements you receive from Bassett Healthcare Network.
