Sick Visits & After-Hours Care

IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL 911.

Same-day sick visits

We offer same-day appointments to all sick patients who need one. Please call as early in the day as possible, and expect to speak to a nurse who will work with you to determine if a visit is needed.

After hours calls

If you have an urgent medical problem that cannot wait until the morning, please call (607) 432-5600 and remain on the line to reach the answering service. They will contact our highly-trained nurse triage service, and a nurse or nurse practitioner will call you back. Please keep your line open and disable private number blocking. If you do not receive a call back in 20 minutes, please call again. A physician from our practice is always on call when needed.

Weekends and holidays

The clinic is closed on weekends and holidays.

We will not prescribe antibiotics over the phone if we have not seen you for the illness. Antibiotics are powerful medications for bacterial infections (not viruses) and can cause many problems when they are overused.
