About Us

Valley Residential Services is Herkimer’s premiere enriched housing/assisted living residence combines the convenience of assisted living with the independence of apartment-style living. Apartment suites include a kitchenette, dining and living space, bedroom and full bathroom with large closets. The facility now hosts fourteen new spacious apartments all large enough to accommodate couples, some with dens and two baths. In addition to Adirondack style decor, restaurant-style dining, daily activities, visitor family rooms, and outdoor accommodations, the new wing includes a wellness gym and new family gathering space.

Valley Residential Services offers a comfortable space for residents that allows our residents to have their own space, while providing a sense of community within the facility. Each resident has their own apartment-style room that comes fully furnished, or residents can bring their own furniture.

Community spaces to meet with friends and family give residents a sense of community, and three meals a day are provided in our restaurant-style dining room.
