Laboratory Service Technician/Phlebotomist – Full time - Performs phlebotomy functions and clerical duties in the hospital laboratory and at off site locations as scheduled.  High school diploma or GED required, phlebotomy experience preferred.  6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. schedule Monday –Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. every other Saturday.

RN – FT – INPATIENT UNIT  - Night Shift- Full time RNs for Inpatient Unit.  Responsible for direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. ACLS and PALS or willingness to obtain required.  Twelve hour positions on day shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.  FT position includes a weekend rotation.  New grads considered

NURSING SUPERVISOR – OR/ACU/CS– FT position for RN to supervise the areas of the Operating Room, Ambulatory Care Unit and Central Sterile to ensure quality patient care.  Minimum of associate’s degree in nursing and NYS licensure required, BSN preferred.  Experience in OR or ACU required.  Current BLS, ACLS, PALS required.

RN –FT– ED – Days and Evenings – FT positions for experienced RN in hospital Emergency Department.  Position requires ED experience or equivalent.  Three twelve hour 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.(day position) and 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (evening position) shifts per week and the schedule includes a weekend and holiday rotation..  ACLS, PALS, TNCC required  and ENPC or willingness to obtain required.  O’Connor Hospital is part of the Bassett Healthcare Network.  Competitive compensation and benefits.  

PHARMACY TECHNICIANPer diem position available for a pharmacy technician.  Responsibilities include assisting pharmacist in filling orders and preparing labels, maintaining stock, assisting with IV preparation, maintaining drug logs, running cash register, etc.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Excellent customer service skills required.  Computer experience preferred 

PATIENT ACCESS ASSOCIATE – Per diem position for patient access associate. Responsibilities include accurate disposition of all incoming and outgoing calls and the accurate and complete capturing of demographic, insurance, and visit information. Primarily weekend rotation 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. plus additional coverage of all shifts as needed.  Excellent customer/patient centered service required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.  Two years of experience working with the public in a professional medical/business services setting or associate’s degree in a related field and one year of experience preferred.

LPNs – Per diem – LPN for per diem work in Specialty Clinics and/or inpatient unit

RNs –Per diem – ED and Inpatient -Experienced RNs for per diem work in hospital Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit. ED position requires ED experience or equivalent and ACLS, PALS, TNCC and ENPC or willingness to obtain.  Inpatient position requires ACLS and PALS or willingness to obtain.  Premium pay for per diem work

CNAs– Per diem– Experienced CNAs for inpatient unit. Per diem on night and day shifts. Current certification as a nursing assistant required.
