    Cooperstown Convenient Care, located on the first floor of the Clinic Building, is already exceeding expectations according to Convenient Care leaders, and nearly 50 patients were seen in the first four days.

    "It's exceeding expectations," says Scott Lawrence, RN, assistant nurse manager, Cooperstown Convenient Care, and interim manager, Convenient Care. "Everyone appreciates having this in town. Response, from patients to physicians, has been overwhelmingly positive."

    The usual seasonal health concerns top of the list of why people are making appointments; ranging from coughs, fevers, sore throats and strep throat, to joint injuries and other minor illnesses.

    Jeanne Payne, MSN, MBA, CNS, RN, network administrative director, Emergency, Trauma  and Bed Management Services, says that everyone is very supportive and excited that after-hours care can be provided at a lower cost in Cooperstown.

     "We're thankful you are here" is a comment that has been heard quite often from those seeking care at Cooperstown Convenient Care.
