Patient Care Technician II-Full Time and Per Diem Positions-Inpatient Unit

The Patient Care Technician II is a key member of the nursing care team and under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN), assists with direct and indirect patient care, and support to patients and health care team members.  Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Technician

Key Benefits of this Position:

Full time 6:45AM-3:00PM position to include variable weekends

Per diem position to include variable shifts


Position requires extensive standing, bending, and walking.

Ability to push/pull up to 50lbs and lift objects of up to 50lbs is occasionally required.


High school diploma or equivalent, required.


At least 2 years of previous patient care experience required.

Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred; completed training within six (6) months from date of hire.


Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, preferred

Licensed Practical Nurse Certification, preferred

Current BLS, required.


Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, required.  

Ability to build rapport quickly, develop trust, sustain working relationships, and represent LFH positively in internaland external meetings is required.

Ability to quickly and independently prioritize and anticipate patient care needs.
