The Nurses of At Home Care have been taking care of your neighbors for 30 years.  Have you thought about serving your community doing one on one patient care?

Some of the things you will do on a typical day  as an AHC nurse will be traveling to patient’s homes throughout Otsego County doing:

  • Wound care
  • IV therapy
  • Medication set ups & teaching
  • Assessments
  • Admitting patients to service

 You will use ALL your nursing skills, and have the opportunity to learn many more.  Our nursing staff is provided with state of the art technology for documentation and communications.

Of course, home care is not for every nurse.  Being the fastest growing sector of healthcare, it requires that you be highly motivated, self- directing, and able to critically think.  You need to take a holistic approach to patient care.  You will be your patients nurse, advocate and an important part of their healthcare team.
