Registrar I

The Registrar I's primary function is to obtain and verify patient demographic, financial and insurance information to assure appropriate and timely care.  The Registrar I collaborates as needed with departments within the hospital, the network, provider offices and insurance companies to obtain authorizations for admissions and/or necessary information to provide patient care.

Key Benefits of this Position:

7:00 pm - 7:00 am, rotating weekends


High school diploma or equivalent, required.


  • One year experience in scheduling and authorizations, preferred.

  • Previous healthcare experience and clinical knowledge, preferred.



  • Must be able to engage and effective communicate with individuals and groups of adults at all levels within the organization.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly, develop trust, sustain working relationships, and represent CRH positively in internal and external meetings is required.

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills are required.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to, Word, required.

  • Basic keyboarding skills, required.

  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills are required.

Physical Requirements

  • General office environment with significant computer and telephone time, however, routine standing and walking is required.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs, required.
