Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nursing Assistant is a key member of the nursing care team and under the direction of the Registered Nurse, assists with direct and indirect patient care, provide basic nursing care, and support to patients and health care team members.  Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the CNA helps to provide interventions that are prescribed by the treatment plan.

Key Benefits of this Position:

6:45 pm - 7:15 am; 3 days/week including every other weekend

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent, required.

Experience

Previous experience in a health-related position, preferred.

Certifications:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, required.

  • Current BLS required within thirty days of hire.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, required.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly, develop trust, sustain working relationships, and represent CRH positively in internal and external meetings is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Position requires extensive standing, bending and walking.

  • Ability to push/pull up to 50lbs and lift objects of up to 50lbs is occasionally required.
