Many different aesthetic procedures can be considered for body contouring including liposuction, tummy tuck, arm lift and thigh lift.

Liposuction, also known as lipoplasty, is a surgical technique that improves the body's contour by removing excess fat, which often develops between the skin and muscle. Liposuction involves the use of a small stainless steel tube connected to a powerful suction pump and inserted into the fat through small incisions in the skin. Liposuction slims and reshapes specific areas of the body and improves body contours and proportion. Liposuction surgery can be used to treat many parts of the body including the thighs, arms, neck, hips, waist, back, chest, calves and ankles.

A tummy tuck, also known as an abdominoplasty, removes excess fat and skin. In most cases, a tummy tuck can restore the abdominal profile to be smoother and firmer. The most common causes of an abdomen that is loose and sagging include pregnancy, aging and significant weight loss.

An arm lift, also known as a brachioplasty, reduces excess skin and fat between the underarm and the elbow. An arm lift reshapes the arm to result in smoother contours and will produce a more toned appearance. Arm lift is one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures performed after significant weight loss.

A thigh lift, also known as a thighplasty, reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin, and in some cases fat. A thigh lift results in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the thighs and lower body. A thigh lift can also reduce excess skin and fat in the thigh and knee area. The goal of the thigh lift surgery is to create proportionate thighs to the buttocks, abs and legs.
