Physician Assistant Joins Bassett's Clinton Health Center

Cooperstown, N.Y. – Bassett Healthcare Network has added a second provider to its recently opened family practice in Clinton. Jessica Kast, physician assistant, has joined Bassett’s health center located at 34 Chenango Ave. As an advanced practice clinician, Kast will see patients of all ages for their primary health care and will work along with medical director Aimee Pearce, M.D. 

There will be an opportunity for the public to meet Dr. Pearce and Jessica Kast at a community open house Thursday, Jan. 19, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Clinton Health Center, which opened just a month ago. Tours will be provided and refreshments will be served.

Kast, who lives in Herkimer, earned her undergraduate degree in health sciences and a Master of Science in physician assistant studies at Daemen College. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants.

Bassett’s center in Clinton was established to provide additional options for primary health care in the local community.
