Kids Express Back At Bassett's Herkimer Health Center

Cooperstown, N.Y. – Kids Express at Herkimer Health Center will return Sept. 7, for the new school year. Kids Express, at the Bassett Healthcare Network - Herkimer Health Center, is an early morning health clinic where a child can be seen (no appointment necessary) for an acute complaint, get a recommendation on whether the child should go to school or not, and receive medical treatment if necessary. Kids Express is convenient for families in the Mohawk Valley who need to obtain medical attention early weekday mornings for their children who may have a cough, sore throat, fever and other minor illness.
Kids Express fast facts:

  • Hours – 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m., Monday through Friday, for kids 4 to 18 years old.
  • No appointment necessary. Walk-ins are welcome, although a phone call to let us know you’re coming is appreciated.
  • Treatment for minor illnesses/symptoms only, such as sore throat, fever, runny nose, cough, earache, rashes, conjunctivitis (pinkeye).
  • A parent or guardian should bring in the child. With permission on file, a neighbor or babysitter can also bring the child in.
