Health Reform, Medicare and You

Cooperstown, NY – Health reform brings with it changes to Medicare. In fact, some of the most immediate changes associated with The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act signed into law March of this year happen to Medicare. Some of the changes are significant and that’s why the Bassett Cancer Institute is sponsoring an “Introduction to Medicare Changes for 2011 and Beyond” Monday, October 25 at 6 p.m. in the Clark Auditorium on the Bassett Medical Center campus in Cooperstown. Refreshments will be served.

Mr. David Polley from the Otsego County Office for the Aging will give a brief presentation and then open the session up to questions about the changes and provide people with the knowledge they need to navigate the process. For more information on the Medicare session at Bassett, call
