Family Health and Wellness Expo

Cooperstown, NY - The Bassett Healthcare Network invites you to visit the Family Health and Wellness Expo, Saturday, November 6 at Sangertown Mall in New Hartford. The region's premier health and wellness organizations and businesses will be on hand throughout the mall all day long.

You will be able to receive free blood pressure screenings through the Bassett Heart Care Institute’s Community Heart Program. Bassett will also have information on the da Vinci hysterectomy, an advanced minimally invasive technique to remove the uterus through a few small dime-sized incisions. In addition, the Bassett Cancer Institute, which offers a nationally accredited cancer care program, will have a display of various services. Expo attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about Valley Health Services, a skilled nursing facility located in Herkimer. Valley Health Services, a Bassett affiliate, will have staff on hand to provide information regarding their services, including skilled long term nursing, outpatient rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, adult day care and the palliative care center.
