What: Free and private screening with a Bassett psychotherapist in recognition of National
Depression Screening Day

When & Where: Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic, Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at 125 Main Street, Oneonta

Who: Psychotherapists from Bassett’s Department of Psychiatry will assist in the screening.

Why: Many people cannot tell the difference between normal grief, passing sadness or serious clinical depression. Our professionals can assist you in determining the difference. Participants will be asked to complete a simple evaluation form that will be reviewed with a therapist.

Details: There is no cost for screenings; the service is funded by the Kathryn Tamara Harmon Fund,
established in loving memory of Elmer M. Harmon.
