2011 Silent Auction
Regional businesses, restaurants, artists and other donors have contributed some of their best works, items and services to another highly-anticipated Bassett Gala Silent Auction. Proceeds from the Silent Auction, Pre-Gala Auction and Raffle will support the construction and capital needs of a new high-tech operating suite within Bassett Medical Center. Last year, the auctions and raffle brought in nearly $40,000. Many bids were placed by non-attendees who used closed bid forms.

“We are most appreciative of the extraordinary energy put forth by so many volunteers whose efforts have resulted in yet another outstanding auction and raffle this year,” said Michael Stein, vice president of development. “Under the direction of Auction Chair, Gayle Smith, this group of volunteers spends the better part of the year seeking donations from individuals, businesses and vendors who are anxious to support Bassett’s programs and services. We are most grateful to these auction volunteers, as well as those who donated items, for their generous contributions toward the expanded surgical suite on the Bassett campus.”
