Visiting Hours

In general, visiting hours at A.O. Fox Hospital run from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week. Check with the unit you're planning to visit for details.

Parents are allowed to stay with their children and there is flexibility in the nursing home as well, depending on the situation. Check with a staff member. On Maternity, the hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Map & Directions

Albany (Drivetime approx. 1 hour)

Leave the airport and follow signs for I-87 S. Merge on I-87 S for approximately 1.5 miles and look for signs for the NY State Thruway (I-90 west toward Buffalo). Once on the Thruway (I-90 west) continue to exit 25A (approx. 11 miles), signs will say I-88 "Oneonta". Get on I-88W for approximately 40 miles to exit 15. At the bottom of exit 15 turn right and proceed to the next intersection, approximately .5 miles, take a right on to Main street. Proceed past the second stop light. A.O. Fox Hospital will be immediately on the right. The first entrance is to the Emergency room; there is additional parking at the next intersection to the right.

Binghamton (Drive time approx. 1 hour)

Exit the airport and proceed down the hill (Airport Road) approx. 7.5 miles. You will be getting onto 17 east, just under the bridge past the traffic lights. Once on 17 east proceed approx. 3 miles in the center lane as I-81 north/I-88 east is a left exit off of this. Once onto I-81 north/I-88 East get over to the right lane, the merge will be a right exit within one mile. Get onto I-88 east and proceed for approximately 59 miles to exit 15, Oneonta. At the bottom of the exit take a left and proceed under the bridge, through the traffic light to the next intersection, which is Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and proceed past the second stop light. AO Fox Hospital will be immediately on the right. The first entrance is to the Emergency room; there is additional parking at the next intersection to the right.

Syracuse (Drivetime approx. 2.5 hours)

Leave the airport and look for signs for I-81 South toward Binghamton. Continue on I-81 South for approximately 45 miles to exit 8 "Whitney Point". Get onto State Route 206 East to "Greene" and "Bainbridge", approx. 29 miles. At Bainbridge get onto I-88 East. Stay on I-88 for approximately 26 miles to exit 15, Oneonta. At the bottom of the exit take a left and proceed under the bridge, through the traffic light to the next intersection, which is Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and proceed past the second stop light. A.O. Fox Hospital will be immediately on the right. The first entrance is to the Emergency room; there is additional parking at the next intersection to the right.
