Dialysis at Little Falls

The Bassett Healthcare Network’s 12-station dialysis center at Little Falls Hospital (LFH) has the capacity for 72 patients and is staffed by a team of experienced registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified patient care technicians, dieticians and social workers. The patients are followed by Bassett’s board certified nephrologists, doctors who have been trained in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease and dialysis, on a regular basis.

The dialysis center at LFH was designed to create a relaxing personal atmosphere for patients, who may have several visits a week lasting hours at a time. The center is located on the hospital’s third floor and features an open design with the patient stations placed along the southern perimeter to capitalize on sunny open valley views. The individual stations provide complete privacy, patient storage, flexible seating, individual video monitors and personal lighting and window shade control. There is also a bright family waiting room and a home training education suite.
