Bassett's Herkimer Health Center to Host Lung Cancer Awareness Event on November 10, 2016

Shine a Light FB 2.jpgCentral New York’s local lung cancer community is coming together to Shine a Light on Lung Cancer at Bassett’s Herkimer Health Center (321 East Albany Street in Herkimer) on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Herkimer will join an anticipated 200 cities nationwide where Shine a Light events will be taking place in health care facilities this November for Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

Shine a Light Herkimer will feature information, personal stories, music, refreshments, and a candlelight vigil. Help brighten the lives of our friends and neighbors touched by lung cancer.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States, taking more lives annually than breast, prostate and colon cancer combined.
