Bassett Healthcare Network & First Choice Cleaners Seek Donations for Coats for Kids

Bassett Healthcare Network and First Choice Cleaners are collecting gently used winter coats from Sept. 9 through Oct. 25 for the Coats for Kids program. First Choice Cleaners are donating dry cleaning services for the garments.

Coats for Kids is a program that many organizations nationwide participate in to ensure that families who have no coats for their kids get one at no cost. Winter coats, snowsuits and snowpants for children and infants are needed.

Donations from the community will be accepted at the following locations:

Bassett Clinic,  River St., Cooperstown
FoxCare Center, 1 Fox Care Dr., Oneonta
Herkimer Health Center, 321 East Albany St. 
Oneonta Health Center, 125 Main St.
Oneonta Specialty Services, 1 Associate Dr. (off River St.)
First Choice Cleaners (18 Main St., Oneonta; 99 Chestnut St., Cooperstown; and Price Chopper Plaza, Delhi)

Coats will be distributed at the Oneonta Health Center, 125 Main St. on Friday, Nov. 14, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and at the Herkimer Health Center, 321 East Albany St. on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9:00 a.m. – noon. For more information, call 607-547-3070.
