Local driving directions:
From Cooperstown to Bassett Healthcare - Walton:
- Take Route 28 south to I-88 west. Take Exit 15 off I-88.
- Go left to the second light and take a right. This will take you back to Route 28 going south.
- Continue to drive over Franklin Mountain until the intersection of Route 357. This turn will be at a fork in the road; bear right.
- Take Route 357 until the intersection of Route 21; bear left. Route 21 will take you into Walton.
- When coming into Walton you come down a small hill. Take first left (Pine Street). Proceed to North Street for Bassett Healthcare-Walton.
- Turn right onto North Street. Drive up the small hill and turn left onto Route 21.
- Take Route 21 to the junction of Route 357.
- Turn right and take Route 357 to the bottom of Franklin Mountain.
- Bear left and go over the mountain into Oneonta.
- Turn left onto I-88 east.
- Get off at Exit 17 (Cooperstown).
- Take Route 28 north into Cooperstown. Follow signs for hospital.
