About this event

Online Class Requirements

We are continuing to offer our breastfeeding classes online as we've found that participants appreciate having the opportunity to join in from the comfort of their own space. Participants therefore must have access to Zoom, as well as a computer, tablet, or cellphone with internet, video, and speaker capabilities.

Zoom is free. Please be sure to create a free Zoom account prior to the meeting.

If online instruction does not work for you for any reason, please contact instructor Kate Seeley by 10 weeks prior to your due date to inquire about other options. The earlier you reach out, the better. Kate's contact information is listed below.

Online Class Description

This is a single two-hour class designed for families who are interested in breastfeeding their newborn. The class offers introductory information on why breastfeeding is the best way to feed your infant, how to get started, and how to overcome obstacles.

Upon registering, expectant patients will receive a confirmation email. In addition, an information packet will be sent to you by mail.

Our instructor:

Kate Seeley, RN IBCLC – katherine.seeley@bassett.org
