Conferences

There are a variety of weekly conferences available to Transitional Year residents. Each of the rotations you are on will have pertinent conferences that you should attend. These conferences cover a variety of topics, including, morbidity and mortality, CPC, journal reviews, evidence based medicine, case presentations, specialty topics and grand rounds. Below are conference schedules for general surgery and internal medicine.

7:15 am Inservice Review Surgery Subspecialty Conference

7:30 am Surgery Grand Rounds General Surgery Case Presentation

8:00 am Trauma Conference (2nd and 4th Thursday)

8:15 am Surgical Morbidity and Mortality Rounds

12:00 pm Surgeon-in-Chief Rounds PGY-1 and Student Conference

4:00 pm Surgical Journal Club (once a month)
