Bassett Healthcare offers a comprehensive education service to assist persons with diabetes to self-manage their disease to their best ability. One complete session is offered each month on four consecutive Wednesdays, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Cooperstown.
Classes are also offered in Herkimer on four consecutive Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm.
As occurs with other Bassett appointments, we will submit charges to your insurance carrier. You may be responsible for a copayment or charges, if not covered. Family members or domestic partners who attend may do so free of charge.

More about us.... - We have a Diabetes Advisory Board, which includes an Endocrinologist, Certified Diabetes Educators who are Registered Nurses and Registered Dietitians and a consumer with diabetes. - Our diabetes educators are available to meet with you for a private consultation. - Should you be admitted to our hospital, we will make sure you have the knowledge and 'survival skills' you need to manage your diabetes at home. - Our program follows ADA recognition guidelines. |
