Surgical Services

Same-day surgery is offered at Cobleskill Regional Hospital. Among the physicians who perform surgical procedures at the hospital are general surgeons, orthopedic specialists, plastic surgeons, gynecologists, ear-nose-throat specialists, urologists, thoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, and gastroenterologists. These specialists, as well as the surgical team’s anesthesiologists, are affiliated with Bassett Healthcare Network. Foot surgery and procedures performed by podiatrists are also performed at Cobleskill Regional Hospital. Additionally, eye surgery is performed by ophthalmologists (eye doctors) in private practice and from Bassett. The hospital’s surgical team includes a group of experienced OR nurses. Recovery generally takes place right in the surgical suite for same-day surgery, and the emphasis is on preventing complications following surgery and ensuring appropriate follow-up care.

The surgical suite is located on the hospital’s ground floor.
