Much has changed in the 50 years since our hospital was founded, but one thing remains the same: our commitment to providing the best possible inpatient care for people with acute medical conditions requiring hospitalization. Cobleskill Regional Hospital’s inpatient unit is staffed by a team of experienced registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nurse’s aides who provide caring and personalized care. A team of highly skilled and experienced primary care physicians from the Schoharie County-based Bassett Health Centers provide medical/hospitalist care for inpatients under the direction of Inpatient Medical Director Joyce Burton, M.D..

According to patient surveys conducted by HealthStream, Cobleskill Regional Hospital consistently scores highly on quality indicators such as how well nurses and doctors communicate with patients, hospital cleanliness, the courtesy and respect we show for our patients, and for making sure that patients who are going home understand their instructions and know how to get help after discharge.
