The traveling screening services are available throughout Otsego, Oneida, Delaware, Chenango, Madison, Herkimer, Schoharie, Fulton, and Montgomery counties. Screenings will be available on a regular basis at Bassett health centers as well as other community sites that can provide adequate space for the medical coach.
Special stops will be made by arrangement with community groups, businesses and organizations interested in hosting a screening session. Groups or individuals interested in scheduling screening sessions in their communities should call toll-free 1-800-BASSETT or (607) 547-3019.
For women who cannot afford to pay for these services, the Cancer Services Program may cover the costs of the screenings. For information about eligibility for the Cancer Services Program, please call 1-888-345-0225
