Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
Patients with serious heart conditions want to reduce their risk factors-and improve their quality of life. But how? Through Fox's Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
Exercise-Supervised and Personalized
At the core of the program are structured exercise sessions, carefully supervised by medical professionals and tailored to each patient's unique needs. Once we have a referral from your physician, we review your medical history, give you an exercise test, and conduct a body density test-all to determine a program of safe but adequate exercise. Patients typically engage in three one-hour exercise sessions each week.
Monitoring those sessions is a highly experienced team, including exercise physiologists and RNs who specialize in cardiac care. Staff members work closely with your physician and the program's medical director.
Who Should Join
Located in HealthLinks @ FoxCare - which features a whole range of modern exercise equipment-the program is ideal for patients who have had a heart attack or coronary bypass surgery in the past year. People with stable angina, or those with an accompanying diagnosis (such as a pacemaker or valve replacement), may also consider the program.
