Social Work Services

If you need help-for whatever reason-Fox Social Work Services is a good place to start.

We provide guidance and support for people in need…for individuals, couples, families, Fox staff members, groups, communities, organizations and schools. That help can come in many forms:

• Maternity referrals and needs
• Smoking, drug and alcohol intervention and referrals
• Counseling
• Crisis intervention
• Community education
• Case management
• Referrals for housing, insurance, finances and transportation
• Nursing home placements

On any given day, we might hold a workshop on HIV…engage in child abuse identification and prevention…help people find skilled nursing and adult home placement…arrange transportation and housing for discharged patients…or counsel a staff member in need.

Although Social Work Services at A.O. Fox Hospital refers people to the County Department of Social Services, we are not employed by or affiliated with the Department.
